Neutral Thanksgiving Table Decor

thanksgiving table decor

Before I jump on the Christmas decoration bandwagon, I wanted to at least do one Thanksgiving decor blog post! I always love going home for Thanksgiving because my mom always makes the table look so festive and pretty for the big dinner! I will forever be trying to mimic her delicious food and cozy Thanksgiving decor!

Since David and I are starting our lives together and will eventually host our own Thanksgiving, I’ve been browsing Thanksgiving décor online and have found tons of things I really don’t need right but obviously have to have. I’m really loving neutral Thanksgiving décor! Soft creams, golds, and blues are quickly becoming my favorite colors and I think they translate really well to a Thanksgiving dinner table. They’ll make the food really pop, which to be honest, is the most important part!

I’ve linked everything in the photo here!

Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party Bar Cart Styling

bridal shower bar cart

Hey lovelies! I’m super excited to FINALLY be sharing my new bar cart with you all! I had posted a poll on Instagram about a month ago asking if I should get a bar cart or bench for our little breakfast area off the kitchen and it was pretty 50/50! So I went with this super cute gold bar cart from Target that was on sale for $75! Can’t beat that! Here’s the link if you’ve been wanting one!

My little acrobat, Binx, decided she wanted to be in the photos and help with the styling of my bar cart! She’s a character! After I came home from Denver, I had a ton of really cute items left from the party that I thought would look cute on a bar cart.

You can find the “Bride to Be” sign here and the “Last Fling Before the Ring” cups here! These were the cutest and made for good pictures! Now they look adorable sitting on my little cart.

When I was styling everything on here, it was so hard to figure out what should go where. I think the key to good bar cart style is having a mix of heights and textures present. I used a variety of accessories that would give it some visual interest like the flowers placed on the floor (which were $2.50 each at Target from their Opal House collection!!!) I also used some coffee table books on the bottom shelf to add height to the little topiary. I’m honestly really thrilled by how it came out! I’m definitely going to have fun styling it for each season. I think David would rather just keep wine on it but I’m the decorator in the house so we’re going to have to compromise there haha!

What to Put On Your Wedding Registry

Hey lovelies! With David and I getting married in a few months, we decided it was time to put together a wedding registry that we could include in our wedding invitation packet for everyone we’re inviting. It’s so funny how you can be out and about and see a million things you want but then when it comes time to actually list out the things you’d like, you’re totally stumped! When we went to add things to the registry, we had a hard time figuring out what we actually needed! We have basically everything after having lived together for 3 years and also being in our mid twenties.

So we came up with a few things that would be nice to have and put them on our registry. If you’re looking for registry items and are stuck like we were, here are some ideas!

wedding registry ideas

  1. Eiffel Tower Sheets
  2. Utensil Holder
  3. Wedding Cake Christmas Ornament
  4. Flower Arrangement
  5. Gold Silverware
  6. Blue Bench
  7. Recipe Box
  8. Marble Plates (they come in several colors!)
  9. Champagne Bucket
  10. Euro Pillows
  11. Ceramic Jar

Target Dollar Spot: Valentine’s Day Finds

dollar spot wine glassHey everyone! Am I the only one that hopes January will go really fast? The winter months just kill me. I like sunshine, patios, and warm temps! One of the first things I do when seasons change is check out the Target Dollar Spot. I’m such a big fan of this little section. I find so many delightful things for décor around our house. Right now, Valentine’s Day and winter items are hot in the Dollar Spot! I’ll share some of my favorites below!

Galentine’s Day Dollar Spot Items

HOW CUTE ARE THESE GALENTINE’S DAY ITEMS?! I’m proud that I didn’t buy all of them but I’m still tempted. And I live across the street from a Super Target. It’s like a dream and a nightmare all at the same time. These are just such cute little things for a girl’s night get together. I really need that glitter sign!

Winter Dollar Spot Items

THE HOT COCOA STUFF! Oh my goodness. Once again, I was tempted but only bought the cute mugs. I might go back for more though. Some of these items make really good stocking stuffers for next Christmas too!

Ok I also bought the lavender eye pillow and I really like it! It smells amazing and doesn’t fall of my head. So winning there. They have a ton of stuff for new year organization and resolutions. I definitely need to get a pair of those workout gloves! Just sayin.

Anyway, I’ll share more on my Instagram stories as they roll out other items. Happy winter everyone!
