Oooh you guys! Target has done it again! Their Dollar Spot is on point this Christmas! They have a lot of inexpensive decorative items and tons of really cute things to give as little gifts or stocking stuffers! If anyone wonders where I spend all of our money, its in this little section. Like how does $1 + $3 + $5 = $56?! It just happens in that section of Target. ANYWHO, take a look at what’s in store!

Affordable Spring Styles from Universal Thread

Oh you guys it’s almost spring! I’m literally counting down the days until spring is officially here. Luckily, in Texas it usually comes early. I’ve been making a spring style wish list to share with you and surprise, surprise- it consists of all things Target. Specifically, their line called Universal Thread. It’s a great dupe for Madewell fans on a budget! My friend Erica is a huge Madewell fan and when she found this line, she was in love and so was I!

Target Dollar Spot: Valentine’s Day Finds

Hey everyone! Am I the only one that hopes January will go really fast? The winter months just kill me. I like sunshine, patios, and warm temps! One of the first things I do when seasons change is check out the Target Dollar Spot. I’m such a big fan of this little section. I find so many delightful things for décor around our house. Right now, Valentine’s Day and winter items are hot in the Dollar Spot! I’ll share some of my favorites below!

Galentine’s Day Dollar Spot Items

HOW CUTE ARE THESE GALENTINE’S DAY ITEMS?! I’m proud that I didn’t buy all of them but I’m still tempted. And I live across the street from a Super Target. It’s like a dream and a nightmare all at the same time. These are just such cute little things for a girl’s night get together. I really need that glitter sign!

Winter Dollar Spot Items

THE HOT COCOA STUFF! Oh my goodness. Once again, I was tempted but only bought the cute mugs. I might go back for more though. Some of these items make really good stocking stuffers for next Christmas too!

Ok I also bought the lavender eye pillow and I really like it! It smells amazing and doesn’t fall of my head. So winning there. They have a ton of stuff for new year organization and resolutions. I definitely need to get a pair of those workout gloves! Just sayin.

Cute Gym Style for Your New Year’s Resolutions

Since I’m definitely not the only one that made a New Year’s Resolution to eat healthier and exercise, I thought now is the perfect time to talk about all that fun stuff. Is there anything harder than breaking bad habits? I stepped on the scale about a week ago and let me tell you, nothing motivates you like seeing the numbers just keep rising before your eyes. Absolutely terrifying. It doesn’t matter how thin or big I look to other people, I’m my own worst critic and I want to feel my best! The thing that motivates me to work out is the thrill of getting a toned body and buying new work out clothes!

Being that I’m a self-proclaimed style blogger, I feel like I have to look cute no matter what I do, and that includes hitting the gym. I’ll never be able to walk into the gym and feel empowered by wearing old gym shorts and a baggy t-shirt. It just isn’t happening because let’s be honest, I’m totally checking myself out in the mirror while I work out. And I know I’m not the only one who does this. I’m studying my form, how my gym style compares to everyone else’s, and whether or not my legs look big in the leggings I’m wearing.

A few of my favorite places to get workout clothes are from Target and Old Navy. Of course I love Lulu Lemon and the cute uppity-ness going on with their clothing, but it just isn’t affordable right now. I’m always on the hunt for similar styles for half the price. Read on for a few of my finds below!

My “outfit of the day” is probably my favorite outfit to exercise in! Dallas has lots of great places to run but my favorite place is the treadmill inside and away from the cold! Let me know how your resolutions are going and share any weight loss tips with me in a comment below!

Target Dollar Section Valentine’s Day Finds

Happy New Year lovelies! I hope you got to bring in 2017 with style and had a nice night on the town! David and I met up with some friends of ours at one of our favorite hang outs in Dallas. We came home before midnight though because Uber surge pricing gets expensive… and David bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate the New Year!

Right after the holidays are over and the madness dies down, I love to go out to my favorite stores and browse their clearance sections and find little treasures. I also love to check out Target’s Dollar Spot for new seasonal items! With Valentine’s Day coming up, I figured they’d have some pretty adorable things. Target outdid themselves this year though! The dollar section kept me occupied for a good 20 minutes yesterday afternoon. Everything I found was under $5 and totally worth the buy!

Target Dollar Spot Under $5 Finds!

Ok. Seriously. How cute are these scarves? I love the watercolor flowers on the one and the gold polka dots on the other. Better yet, they’re each $3!

I love adorable door hangers and nice table runners to class up the dining room. Both of these are between $3-5!

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure of what these are supposed to be. I thought just regular glasses for drinking but I kind of like them for storing make up brushes or small potted flowers. These pretty glasses are $3 each!

Do I have an obsession with coffee mugs and travel mugs? Yes, I do! When I saw this one I got really excited because I love floral prints! You can find this in the Target dollar spot for under $5.

So for whatever reason, I love pretty or fun dish towels and of course the Valentine’s selection at Target didn’t disappoint. I also love signs that say something motivational like these ones do. Signs and dish towels are each $3!

Last but not least, another great dollar section find were these coffee mugs! I love the cute little sayings on them and you can’t beat the price- $4.99!
