Must-Have Weekend Outfit

Since Christmas has been over for awhile (sadly) I’ve been so excited to share this adorable top with you guys! It was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend’s mom and it’s seriously my favorite thing in my closet right now. As a fashion blogger, I’m always on the lookout for something cute I can share with you. With the weekend starting, this is the perfect “outfit of the day” to share with you!

Though my weekend may not be as exciting as yours (I’m going grocery shopping), I still like to wear something that makes me feel confident. This is one of those great day time outfits that works for almost anything you’ll be doing! For whatever reason, a good baseball hat is my favorite weekend accessory (mine’s from Marley Lilly!) A great pair of jeans is also a classic must-have in any girl’s weekend wardrobe (link to mine here).

Let’s talk about the cutest part of this post- my top! The plaid trim pulls this outfit together so nicely. It’s chic because of the peplum but still casual thanks to the classic pattern.
