Pink Shopping Haul

pink haul

Today I’m super excited to share with you my fun Pink Victoria’s Secret haul! Every once in a while they send me really good coupons in the mail and I go splurge on a few pretty things. I’m not the type to willingly shell out $10.50 for underwear, so when there’s a sale and a coupon to go with it, I sprint to the nearest store!

Pink and Victoria’s Secret sent me a “free underwear with purchase” card so I went into both stores and bought a thing or two to qualify for the underwear. Spending the majority of my time in Pink, I got suckered into their 5 for $27.50 deal on undies. I love good deals, what can I say? Especially when that deal was paired with a $10 off a purchase of $35 or more card (I bought a water bottle I had been wanting.)

The two free pairs of undies I got were so cute and I love the little sayings on them! You may be the only one who sees them, but you should still feel confident when you wear them. The best way to enjoy Pink’s amazing deals is buy signing up for an “Angel card” and using it every time you make a purchase. I’m not a fan of having a credit card for every store, but the coupons and offers you get when you have one from VS are great! A little bonus- right now Pink is giving away free fanny packs and koozies with any purchase! Go enjoy if you can!

Kate Spade Surprise Sale Picks!

Surprise sale kate spade

Good morning beauties! I love having something happy to wake up to in the morning and if it isn’t coffee, then it has to be a sale! On my Facebook feed earlier, I saw a link to a surprise Kate Spade sale with 75% off everything. I was giddy with excitement! Since many young, 20-somethings have to be budget conscious, these are the sales we live for. Go check out the sale and leave a comment with your favorite items!

The first thing that caught my eye was that adorable hot air balloon tote bag! I really love that they have so many little accessories that feature the cute little balloons. It’s whimsical but still mature enough for the young professional. The coin purse and earrings that match are darling too!

Can we also talk about that fabulous pink coat with the matching luggage? I saw the coat last year when it first came out and it was over $700! I tried it on just for kicks and just fell in love with how cute it was. The sales associate was probably laughing inside knowing I couldn’t afford it. It’s on sale for $250 now and is tempting me. Fortunately my bank account always reminds me of what I’m allowed to be tempted by.

A more practical thing to buy among my favorites featured above is that beautiful taupe bag! Every girl should have a quality neutral colored purse like that. It goes with everything and works all year round. Is it nice to have expensive seasonal bags? Sure is, but sometimes it just doesn’t match the budget we have. This purse will last for years and create great outfits time and again!

Hopefully you get to splurge on a little something from the sale! Most of their jewelry is $20 like the earrings and bracelet above. See my previous post on budget friendly splurge items at Nordstrom!

Splurge Items Under $30

inexpensive nordstrom

Good morning everyone! Here’s hoping your day is full of sunshine and smiles! I’ve been working harder lately to see the silver lining in everything and force myself to smile even when I don’t feel like it. It helps to be around people that radiate positivity and encouragement as opposed to pessimism (I bring enough of that to the table sometimes.) The last few weeks have been stressful and full of transition. Everyone has their own way of coping with difficult periods and unfortunately mine is spending money… and coloring in adult coloring books, but that’s another story.

Nordstrom on a Budget

In an effort to control my purse strings and save myself from financial ruin, I’ve opted to enjoy window shopping and pretend like I don’t have any money to spend, which isn’t too far from the truth! However, I realize that every once in a while we all deserve a little splurge item to enjoy. I scoured the Nordstrom website for the best “treat yourself” items that won’t break the bank. Shop a few of my favorites under $30 below!

Winter Evening Style

Smile everyone, only a few more days until it’s Friday again! Isn’t it crazy how most of us spend our weekdays wishing they were over so we can just relax? I haven’t worked in an office in awhile, but I remember dragging myself out of bed at 6:30am, getting my coffee to go, and then sitting at a desk for 8 hours. It isn’t an exciting life unless you love what you do and sadly, many people don’t! That’s why Friday nights are so important. And if you’re a fashion-conscious girl like I am, what you wear is even more important!

Gianni Bini at Dillard’s

I went to Dillard’s the other day to browse and look for sale items and I came across a new designer to love- Gianni Bini! She uses a lot of bright colors for her everyday, casual wear but for party dresses, everything is full of jewel-toned colors and fun textures! The best part is that so much of it is being reduced in price right now. I’ve linked my favorites below for you guys to check out!

  1. Madison Skirt- here
  2. Kendra Beaded Romper- here
  3. Tabitha Sequin Leggings- here
  4. Shine Tunic- here
  5. Addison Snake-Print Blouse- here
  6. Ava Feather Skirt- here

It’s taking all of my will power not to go and buy everything on sale. Sparkly, fun clothing like this is perfect for evenings in the winter time. My favorite thing about these pieces is that they’re sexy enough to go out in and feel confident but they’re classier than similar things you might find at Forever 21. Leave a comment with your favorite piece!

Styling a Tunic

styling a tunic

Happy Monday beauties! If you’re on the East Coast, enjoy digging out of the snow. If you’re anywhere else, enjoy the pictures of people shoveling loads of snow. Lucky for me, I missed that big blizzard by a few days! I’ll be headed back to Maryland on Wednesday when the roads are clear but the powder still sits nicely on the tree branches.

Last week I did a little shopping and found far too many things on sale! My favorite thing I found was a button up tunic from the Limited. It was $34.99 with 70% off! There were quite a few on the final sale rack and I snatched one up! Here’s a link to a few other tunics they have on sale.

I love this style of blouse for a variety of reasons but mostly because it’s flattering on every body type. They’re easy to style too! For this look, I wore basic skinny jeans and purple ballet flats (featured here). The fun part about a simple outfit like this is being able to add more elaborate accessories to it like the necklace I’m wearing from Chico’s. Since it was a chilly day, I added a cream puffer vest and an infinity scarf. Perfect outfit for a lovely day!
