Celine Handbag Lookalike

Yay it’s Friday! We made it through another week! I feel like some weeks just drag more than others. This was one of those weeks unfortunately. Tuesday was a fun day though because it was my boyfriend, David, and I’s one year anniversary! He took me to a really nice restaurant here in Kansas City and we gorged on steak and some yummy spinach & artichoke dip. We did a wine tasting before hand to feel classy!

As a special present for me, David bought this gorgeous Kate Spade bag! How thoughtful and sweet is he?! I love the style of the handbag as it has gained popularity after Celine released similar (outrageously expensive) ones. My favorite part of it is how professional it looks! Plus, it’s roomy inside for my laptop, paper bag lunch, and all of my little makeup products that I stuff in there.

My boyfriend is also a smart shopper and got the bag at a Kate Spade outlet! I’ve taught him well. Having lived in many different places, I can honestly say the best (read: cheapest) outlets are in Florida and Texas. Some of the best things I’ve found at these outlets were not only sought-after but deeply discounted items. Everyone knows I love a good deal! One year I got my mom not one, but two pairs of Lucky Brand skinny jeans for a total of $49! *Happy dance*

Anyway, this Celine lookalike is so well-made and a beautiful addition to my Kate Spade collection of purses. Don’t worry, I got David a little something for our anniversary too- new Sperrys! His had seen better days. Enjoy your weekend! Get some sun!

Kate Spade Spring Collection

Yesterday was gorgeous and today is a downpour of rain so I decided to keep a sunny state of mind by browsing the Kate Spade new arrivals section; always a source of inspiration! I loved everything I saw, but the adorable collection of totes and clutches really stole my heart. How does a fashion entity like Kate Spade take elements of a season and turn them into fabulous pieces to swoon over all day? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. Here are a few of my favorite bags (a few of which I really might kill for).

I’m hoping to find my way to a mall sometime soon to smell the new fragrance “Walking on Air.” They cleverly turned the bottle design into a cross-body bag for the spring collection. Trés chic if you ask me! I’m also loving the wicker bag trend I’ve been seeing everywhere!
