Red Gingham Romper for $7

Monday rolled around again I see. Today I’ll probably pretend that I’m going to start my diet and lose a few pounds. By the end of the day you’ll find me in bed watching Friends reruns and eating a cupcake. Such is life, right? Will power, for me, comes and goes like a wave on the shore. Anyway, hopefully you had a fun weekend! I certainly enjoyed mine. Laying by the pool, painting my toenails, and drinking lots of iced coffee is one of the best ways to pass the time. I also drug my boyfriend outside to take pictures of this fantastic little romper!

 

How cute is this thing? I got it at Old Navy for $7! I had to have the straps shortened because they were simply too long for my torso. Once the tailor fixed that problem, this outfit was golden! Rompers have become my go-to summer outfit here in Dallas. The heat is simply too intense to make me want to wear anything remotely layered or made of a heavy material. Linen and cotton is pretty much the only thing I’ll wear as we approach the month of August. 


Honestly, I probably should have had the waist taken in as it’s a little baggy on my otherwise slim figure. Overall, I’m still so happy with it and for the price how could I not be? To add a little pizzazz, I wore a Kate Spade necklace on top and am carrying a monogrammed scalloped Marley Lilly clutch. The clutch was only $19 and is probably one of my favorite purses I have! Highly recommend buying one!
